Overview

This high-quality Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) is designed with a copper-coil transformer, making it capable of charging batteries with capacities of up to 14 Ah. It delivers an output current of up to 2 amperes, making it an ideal solution for recharging batteries up to 14 Ah. By automatically interacting with the battery, it offers both boost and float charging, reaching up to 14.4 volts. An electronic control circuit protects the battery from overcharging.

When the battery is fully discharged, a constant current (boost) is applied to ensure maximum energy recovery; as soon as the battery voltage reaches 14.4V, the charger automatically switches to float mode. Once the battery is fully charged, the charger automatically shuts off, conserving energy and helping to extend the lifespan of both the battery and the charger.

This charger ensures fast and safe charging while minimizing power consumption, making it an energy-efficient choice for both industrial and domestic applications. It is an extremely reliable and compact portable charger.

Even if the battery's + and − are connected the wrong way round, the unit is not damaged. In this condition the LED lights up with a sound (5V minimum).
